Iron Skillet Peaches & Cream Cobbler

Can happiness really be this simple? It sure can. Peaches and Cream is a favorite taste of mine. It transport me to summer without it actually being summer. Here is a very simple recipe that is sure to get raves and hugs from anyone you share with. In fact hugs are a requirement haha. In all seriousness, this recipe gets rave reviews every time I make it. If you don’t have fresh peaches its easy to substitute. Part of cooking is the desire to make delicious food! If your here then you already have the basic necessities.

 Iron Skillet Peaches & Cream Cobbler

Recipe:
2 tbsp of butter
1 cup of self rising flour
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
4 peaches sliced and pits removed
2 8 oz bricks of cream cheese
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
Iron Skillet Peaches & Cream Cobble
Directions:
In a mixer place 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and cream cheese blend till smooth and set aside. Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl combine flour, milk and sugar blend until no lumps. Melt butter in your skillet and pour batter into the skillet. arrange the peaches on top of the batter. Do not Stir. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top and add a few more peaches to the top. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven allow to cool for 10-15 minutes. Slice and Enjoy! This Iron Skillet Peaches & Cream Cobbler can be decadent just by adding Ice Cream.
