Crock Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Crockpot Hardboiled Eggs-www.lauraslittlehousetips.com Crock Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Did you take a double take when you saw the title? Yes, you did read that right. πŸ™‚

In fact I own 5 but don’t laugh at some point I will tell you why all 5 are very much needed.

Using your Crock Pot to boil eggs can be such a time saver. We all get busy and who wants to watch the stove,
or on those dog days of summer when it just heats up kitchen to uncomfortable.
This came to me one year when we signed up to help with a church Easter Egg Hunt and I was working full time and needed a little help.
Worked like a charm. I highly recommend making eggs this way.

I also use this at Holiday time when I am making Creamed Eggs for Holidays or even Egg Salad Sandwiches for picnics.
Watch for those recipes soon.
Crock Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

  • Eggs
  • Salt
  • Hot Water
  • Fill your crock pot with eggs. Make sure not to stack the eggs
  • Fill your crock pot with hot water but only enough to just cover the eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. Vinegar

Instructions:
(No Peeking) You want the heat to stay in the Crock Pot!

  • Set on high for 2 and a half hours.
  • You can use medium, if you need more time. 4 1/2 hours works too.
  • Run under Cold Water or let cool naturally. Either works.
  • Drop us a note and tell us were geniuses haha πŸ™‚

Perfect boiled eggs every time. I have read that you can boil eggs in the crock pot without water, I tried and failed!!
I ended up with scorch marks on the eggs and was not impressed.

This is super simple and always works!

Tip: Because you added Vinegar and Salt your eggs peel super easy without taking half the egg with the shell πŸ™‚

Do you have any time saving tricks? We’d love to hear them. Drop us a comment πŸ™‚

I would never of thought to do this. I suppose with you could clean with the egg water when you are done??? My crock post probably would be cleaner than it has been since new. Thanks for this post

I am not sure about cleaning but I do let it cool and water plants with it. I know I am annoyingly re-useable crazy lol πŸ™‚ Thank you for stopping by!

In Korea, they sell baked hard cooked eggs in their public baths. Your post reminds me of my visit to Korea years back. Good idea. I’ve been considering using my slow cooker for eggs because I tend to store my cooked rice in the rice cooker basket which makes it unavailable to make hardboiled eggs. TMUI (Too much useless info?) LOL Have a great weekend~

Hi Meredith and lol no Information is useless πŸ™‚ I use my slow cooker for just about everything. I love baked potatoes in it! Hot ham and cheese sandwiches. Just wrap in foil and drop in. We have many posts coming. I hope you follow that series. I love reading your blog spot also. So nice to connect!

My problem with anything in the crockpot- I forget to do it. I think if I were making deviled eggs for a party this would be helpful but not for my “I forgot to make breakfast” moments at 9:07 am. True story. It would alleviate any surprise runny yolk also. πŸ™‚

I guarantee once you start using the crock-pot you will say “Where have you been all my life” I got really good with them when my kids were in all kinds of after-school activities. Our favorite was Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches in it. Anything you can wrap in foil and want to serve hot! Go for it πŸ™‚
