I love parties that include your puppies and dogs. Seems everyone has parties all summer long  but always leave the pets out of the party. I know! I know! They can get into everything but I decided when this opportunity became available to have a half human half dog party! Let me tell you how fun it was.

I wanted to have a float party 🙂 What is that you ask? Well,  I love Ice Cream Floats and thought hmm maybe my new puppy would like a float too. That is where the challenge came in. How in the world do you make a Puppy Float. Turns out its super easy and really good for the dogs too.

Plus we also have a Great Sweepstakes for you that you will find at the end of this post! So don’t forget to enter!

Before I reveal my Puppy float let me tell you about the Human side of the party 🙂

I headed to Walmart for all my party needs. From Puppy to Human and I had a ball!!

I decided that we needed cupcakes that were decorated with Life Savers® Hard Candy.  Ice Cream Floats from Dr Pepper® Cherry (Yum) a little Ice Cream and Candy! . So I chose SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars and M&M’s® Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches. Because I had bought so many of the M&M Ice Cream I used that as the Ice cream in Human Floats. Oh boy, was that good!

Dr Pepper® Cherry was so easy to find at Walmart. Just head to the Soda Aisle like I did 🙂

Yum!! No Party is complete with M&M’s® Plain & M&M’s® Peanut Candy Right??

But what about that Puppy that is invited to the party? Well I didn’t forget Zoey. I headed straight back to the pet section and Wow! Talk about Impressive. I wanted something good for her and yet perfect for a party. Pedigree Dentastix® Original or Pedigree Dentastix® Beef Flavor! AhhAhh! Can you hear the angels singing yet? haha I did!! I decided on the beef. I thought “I can use that for her straw! (Yes, She will love me forever!!)

Now this is where the magic happens for the Pedigree Dentastix® Beef Flavor Puppy Float!

Homemade Puppy Float!

For the drink itself I used Low Sodium Beef Broth (Organic)

For the Magic Topping (looks like Whipped Cream) (Dog Friendly)

1 can Garbanzo Beans (Drained) (Save the juice) Super Important

1/2 Cup Honey

Add all of the Bean Water (Drained off Garbanzo Beans)

1/2 Cup Honey

  • I put both ingredients in my kitchen aid on low. Beat on low until you see it start turning white.
  • Increase your speed slowly til your whipping it. Like Whipped Cream only healthier!
  • I promise it turns into this amazing white fluff!
  • Beat until Stiff!
  • That’s it!! Ready to use

Spoon onto your Beef Float. Top with a Pedigree Dentastix® Beef Flavor and you now have a Puppy Float ready for Puppy consumption!

Dr Pepper® Cherry

M&M’s® Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

Whipped Cream Or Puppy Fluff! (Yes it is great for us too 🙂

A Straw adorned with Life Savers® Hard Candy Variety.

For that extra special touch!

Enjoy!

What a fun party! We have had puppy ice cream before, but I have never seen a float! I can’t believe that garbanzo beans turn into that kind of fluff! We love summer time and my kids love the Hawaiian tropic popsicles to eat outside when we play.
