Thank you to Quill.com for having all the products and accessories I needed to created this wonderful home office. While this is a sponsored post all ideas and thoughts are completely my own.

Perfect Home Office Shortcuts

Working at home can be a delight. It can also be terribly difficult if you don’t have the right kind of space. Needing a creative space is about more than just functionality. It needs to be filled with useful tools and supplies, be a comfortable but functional space, and most of all it needs to be a place where I can get things done! I can get so much more accomplished in a creative space than I can while I’m sitting on the couch with the TV “just on for background noise”! With the help of Quill .I’ve found some awesome items that would make my office into my dream creative zone!

Perfect Home Office Shortcuts

Of course I would start from the ground up! You can’t go wrong by starting from the bottom and working you way up, a sturdy foundation is important…or a great rug to bring the whole space together in this case! I love this rug because the design is subtle, it has pops of color but the overall feel of grey, neutral tones works best for me…You can’t see the dirt!

Perfect Home Office Shortcuts

The next thing I would put in my dream office would have to be some new office furniture! I love an L shaped desk because they’re roomy and they have space for me to move my computer off to one side if I have photos to take or other things to spread out! My motto is a clean space to work and all the clutter is kept tucked up underneath! Obviously no office is complete without a great desk chair! You need to be comfortable, supported, and able to focus on work, not constantly moving around because the chair is bugging you. This great chair is stylish but efficient and I like that! It keeps you comfy but not so much that you don’t get your work done!

Perfect Home Office Shortcuts

Finally I would accessorize! I want my space to be fun and pretty but also really efficient. I like things that are beautiful but also serve a purpose. I love this Desk Organizer. It is great for keeping magazine, paperwork, photos, files, all kinds of things fit in here! I also love that they go with any kind of décor. They can match a country chic style or they can go with a more modern office look as well! Another great office accessory that I can’t live without is a Smart Phone Holder. I love a dual purpose one that has plenty of space for all the things I reach for regularly. I can keep all my loose supplies organized and within easy reach. I hate when they get all over the place and clutter up the work zone!

Perfect Home Office Shortcuts

Don’t forget Wall Art. It completely sets your work mood and really the mood for the day. It’s a known fact if you love your work space your productivity rises! What is also nice about that is how easy it is to change it out and change the entire feeling in you and in the room.

What are some items that you would want in your dream office? How do you make your creative space fit your needs? Be sure to check out Quill.com for some wonderful ideas you can customize to your own taste.

You have some great suggestions. I am determined to purge and organize our whole house this year and my office is part of that. Love the chair, especially since mine is falling apart. Great Wall Art too!

You are so right! We need a good space to call our own to work in. I’m lucky enough to have my studio to work in, I create everything from writing, crafts and sewing in there. But while my kids were growing up my workplace was the dining room table which made for unorganized messes. The chair … if we’re not comfortable it’s had to do anything and I love that chair your pictured!

      Hi Cathi,
You so right if we are not comfortable it is so hard to do anything. Like you I used the dining room table with the kids and it was always so messy. Now I adore my work area. It inspires me 🙂

I can’t get my desk organized enough! Every time I do, I end up piling more stuff on. It’s never-ending!
